Does the thought of seeing the dentist make you anxious?
Have you long avoided dental treatment because of a bad experience?
Does fear of the dentist keep you from getting the care you need?
Do the sounds and smells of the dentist's office make you nervous?
For the majority of these people, this fear stems from a previous bad experience. For another larger portion, it's fear of pain or anxiety about the sounds of dental instruments and chemical smells that keeps them away.
In far too many cases, people who are afraid of the dentist avoid getting treatment altogether, not even regular checkups, and we know that going without proper dental care can have serious consequences, not just for teeth, but also for overall health.
we want you to know that you are not alone, and more importantly, that we have a way to eliminate your dental fear.
Our patients’ comfort is our top priority. Hear firsthand how we help even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Watch the video to see how compassionate care can transform your experience.
We always keep our patients smiling!
This is the best dentist I have seen.
This is the best dentist I have seen. It didn't hurt when she did the cleaning. She is very knowledgeable and cares tremendously about teeth. She helped me develop a plan to cover the work for my whole mouth, which involves two extractions and implants, fillings, and a crown, prioritizing the most important work first, and the rest as I can afford. I feel very comfortable getting this work done with her and have no reservations about my treatment. - Mike C
I enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Murphy!

I would highly recommended them to anyone in Bozeman.
I recently started seeing Dr Murphy and her team and I have nothing to say but all positive things to say. I have extreme dental anxiety, and the first appointment Dr Murphy spent what felt like hours going over all of my history and came up with a solid treatment plan. Not once did I feel embarrassed or uncomfortable with the treatment plan. Dr Murphy took the time throughly explain all my treatment options and timeframes. When I came back for a procedure she was extremely informative and explained everything that was going on to ease my nerves. It’s not like a regular dentist office where the dentist goes ahead and digs in your mouth and you kind of wait there in pain, I’ve always felt like a had a decision in my treatment and if anything was uncomfortable we talked through it. Her dental assistant Presley is always great to speak with to calm the nerves before a procedure, and Annie is always a welcoming face to see. I would highly recommended them to anyone in Bozeman.
Sedation dentistry, also known as sleep dentistry, is a dental practice that involves the use of medications to help patients relax and remain calm during dental procedures. It’s often used for patients who experience anxiety, fear, or discomfort when visiting the dentist for dental appointments, or for those undergoing lengthy or complex dental treatments.
There are different levels of sedation used in dentistry, and the choice of sedation method depends on the patient’s level of dental anxiety and the nature of the dental procedure.
Would you like to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile that boosts your well-being? Today’s dental treatments get to the root of dental issues to help you achieve a smile that doesn’t just look good but helps you feel good, too. We’ll work with you to design a plan that meets the overall goals you have for your smile so you can feel confident in the process.
If you have sensory issues or just feel anxious in new or unfamiliar situations, we understand, and we want to help. Please tell us about your feelings, and we will do anything we can to help you feel more at ease while undergoing treatment. We will gladly explain any tool, piece of equipment, or procedure to you to help you understand and feel more comfortable with it. We also have amenities you can take advantage of, such as TVs and headphones, if you need a distraction. And we will always check in with you along the way to make sure you are alright. If you ever need a break during a procedure, all you need to do is give us a signal, and we will stop until you are ready to proceed, because your comfort means more to us than anything else.
My mission is to provide a comfortable, caring environment where you can expect to receive the most thorough and gentle care possible. I will take the time to learn what goals you wish to achieve, and we can also address any fear, guilt, or embarrassment you may be feeling that is preventing you from achieving those goals.
